Board of Management

Grange Post Primary Board of Management is made up of representatives of each of our stake holders, including the Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB), members of the Teaching staff of Grange Post Primary and members of our Parent Body.

The Board currently consists of the following members:

The Board of Management have at their core a positive interest in working in partnership with other stakeholders to support and enhance teaching and learning Grange Post Primary School and oversee its procedures and practices.

The Board have identified the following 3 priorities for the 2016-2017 school year.

  • The Board will support the school through the planning and development stage of the new extension in any way they can.
  • The Board will actively engage with the school to develop and finalise a new homework policy and a new Communicating with Parents Policy this year.
  • The Board will review a minimum of one policy at each Board meeting this year to ensure all policies and practices are current and up to date in the school in line with the SSE/ SIP process.

The Board meet at regular intervals throughout the year.

The first meeting was held on the 6th of September 2016.       AGREED REPORT – 06th sept 2016
